I bought the camera with a lot of hesitation due to conflicting reviews. However, I have to say that I'm very glad I did! We love it! We've taken it to Florida's LegoLand Waterpark, Miami Beach and several pools in between and it works great every time. The battery life isn't as bad as some people describe. We spent a day at the water park taking videos and over 500 photos and at the end of the day we still had the battery, we just didn't go back to look at every photo we took at the site and that was enough to refill the batteries. The only thing I would have liked better is the display. It's hard to see in the water on very sunny days, but I can live with that. This is the best buy I could get for the money I paid. =
