I bought these specifically for a closet in my son's apartment. Smokers lived there before him and the smell just doesn't seem to want to go away completely. Those charcoal bags really help. They can be placed in other places but I bought them for the grommets and the ability to hang them in a closet. To freshen them up after a while, just lay them out in the blazing sun.
