This soldering iron kit has everything you need for a typical repair. It didn't have any heat shrink tubing, which is probably something you want to make sure you get the right size, so if you're buying a whole bunch of these in another kit it's probably what you want anyway. Luckily we have a ton of these that we bought cheaply a while ago. The wires in these cables were so thin that the wire strippers didn't work, but that's ok, we found a quick workaround to strip the wire. - just burn. Then immediately deleted. The tool really did heat up very quickly and as you can see, very hot. The solder was perfect for the job and there is so much in this kit. The stand is quick to assemble, and there's even a sponge you can use to clean the handpiece as you work. Electrical tape was good too as that's what we used too. The stainless steel cleaner helped remove the solder residue on the iron tool. We bought this kit to fix some broken subheads (thanks to my 6 year old daughter dropping her tablets while the cables were in place). My husband doesn't really like soldering as he had no luck with it before but this kit worked well for him and was able to get the job done and we now have two working headphones again for my daughter to use for distance learning. Happy with this kit as it got the job done and we have two working headphones. Featured! 👍🏼
