Case has been redesigned to be worse

I bought two of these cases about a year ago (2017) and they were ok - expensive for what they are but they have held up and I love how you can customize the storage with the foam insert. I just bought another one (December 2018) and it looks different. I've attached some photos of my old case (which appears to be of better quality) and the new case side by side (the new one on the right). What I don't like about the new case: - design feels cheaper - plastic feels thinner and more likely to break - top handle is shorter and harder to lift; I really have to stick my fingers in and pull hard to get it loose. The handle of the old suitcase has a much more comfortable mechanism that lifts and locks with the appropriate force. The grip also feels thinner/lighter/cheaper in the new case - the latches are stiffer so they don't open as easily and because they don't flex as much I think they might break - the inside of the case is a slightly larger than the old one. Sounds like a good thing but I really liked how the foam insert (sold separately) fits perfectly in the old case and there is about 3/4 inch of free space around the perimeter in the new case (see pics 2,3). ,4 for comparison).- It's only aesthetic, but it's annoying: the logo is upside down. You've probably got it right if you're carrying it by the smaller handle, but every time you open the case you have to look upside down at it. One thing they didn't screw up with the redesign: - the pieces that fit together when you put one suitcase on top of another look different so I was worried they wouldn't match. Looks like they got it right and I was able to put the cases together (with one of them above). Overall I'm just disappointed that the case looks and feels different and I think the differences are the worst.
