Poorly made connector. Even though I was able to screw it into the Vertex jack on my Yaesu FTA-450L radio, the sound had terrible tone - sort of weird feedback that made me wonder if the wiring was done right. With sidetone on and the external microphone selected, my audio was barely acceptable. PTT worked, but only when the adapter was tightly screwed on. And if you turn it TOO tight, PTT WILL NOT work, and audio output will work, but with a horrible hum. This is a very cheap headset with earphones. Some features worked and others didn't and vice versa. In this case, you don't even get what you paid for. Big crap.
