I'm a flight instructor and I bought this non-contact thermometer so I can check each client's temperature before I start training - a necessary precaution these days of COVID-19. At the moment I am very satisfied with this device as it turned out to be quite accurate, reliable and easy to use. It's also small enough and light enough to carry around in a flight bag so I always have it on hand. One thing to note, on Revain, the seller called it an "infrared thermometer for kids" and never mentioned using it for adults. . But after doing some digging and reading, it made no sense that its use would be limited to babies, so I ordered it. Of course, when it arrived, the manufacturer's documentation didn't even mention children or children versus adults. And in practice, it works great for adults. (I haven't tested this on a child yet.)
