complete nonsense. I can't believe Gates is doing this. First, the indexing of the ends is a bit off. Close enough that I could get it working with a slight twist of the hose. Second, the end of the pump is too slanted to clean and route the hoses and pump side by side. It was very annoying. I figured I'd take a punch the same size as the inside diameter of the fitting and bend it to the minimum required for cleaning. I used about 1/3 the force it would take to break a pencil, i.e. NOT BIG, and the tube came out the end of the fitting. I'm glad it happened otherwise it would have broke within the first few miles if not on take off. Absolutely bananas! I've never seen anything like it and I've been doing it for over 30 years. Gates should be ashamed of sending such garbage.
