Works great on my 2013 11" MacBook Air with Mavericks. This model is the first Air model with USB3 so it takes full advantage of the adapter I'm seeing very good throughput, a spike at max gigabit ethernet speeds (around 120Mbps, copying from Air SSD to Mac Pro SSD) with a speed of 70Mbps Overall it's almost as good like a thunderbolt ethernet adapter and good to have if you want to use the thunderbolt port for something else like video output make sure you download the right drivers for AX88179 Mac drivers and you will find it. The CD that came with the device is too old and definitely doesn't work with Mavericks and probably not even with 10.7 and 10.8. The driver was released on 02/19/2014. If Si So if you find something older, look again.
