I've read the reviews and some people said they wanted stronger magnets. The item I received has very strong magnets. I can hold it upside down and shake it vigorously and not a single piece falls out. I have better quality than the norm? Did the manufacturer replace the magnets with better ones? I have no idea, but this thing has very strong magnets. I attached it to the wall of the tool cabinet and pulled it out with difficulty. I don't doubt other reviewers but I can only share my experience with this item. And that thing is awesome! I liked it so much after using it for a day that I ordered two more. There are other bit holders at Revain that look exactly the same but under different brand names. They also have mixed reviews. One review said they were all made at the same factory. All I know for sure is that the Neiko 02449A hex bit organizer I received has very strong magnets to both hold the bits and attach the bit holder loaded with bits to a metal surface. Note: I have received my second order of this bit holder and am happy to report that this one has the same powerful magnets as the first one in the review above. very happy with this item.
