Although very well packaged the foam falls apart in the hands when trying to remove the parts from the box. It statically clings to any surface - walls, floors, clothing, furniture, arms and hands. What a mess to clean up. Everyone should know that the device is easy to assemble but poorly designed or assembled incorrectly. Yes, something has already been done, but wrongly. The only square parts are the side panels and shelves. The top needed for assembly is square at the top but has a non-square frame. This fact alone messes up the whole assembly from being square. Each piece of wood that makes up this section is a different length, so the joint isn't square. Because all sides are connected to it, the block is not square when assembled. Then the shelves will not fit in the square. While the unit is at floor level, looking inside you can see spots on the side of the shelf where something small can either fall onto the nearest shelf or onto the floor. The styrofoam mess is gone and I've spent time tweaking all the details because it would be difficult at best to repackage and return the item. There are still cracks/gaps on the sides of the shelves but we only store magazines and remote controls in them. If I had known all this beforehand I would not have bought, so I take the time to give you all a critical but honest opinion.
