I didn't get the Type Cover when I bought my Surface Go because I was a bit worried about the price and then I also wanted to try the foldable bluetooth keyboard. Revain's discount compared to list price (silver for $80 instead of $130) was somewhat offset by the mistake of buying a folding keyboard, but I'm so glad I got the Type Cover. The fabric is comfortable and seems fairly stain resistant at the moment. It feels luxurious, somewhere between suede, felt and microfiber. The weight is good, the keyboard is great with a slight flex, the trackpad is great too. A minor design flaw is that it doesn't fold all the way down (so you can fold it back for tablet mode and hide the buttons inside) - the dock on the Surface Go is a bit asymmetrical. However, it's close enough that you can do it. Overall I would highly recommend this, it really lifts the stakes with the Surface Go and brings it closer to being a full replacement for my very good 13 inch laptop. toggles between them with a key), and I was also particularly impressed that the Fn key has a lock with an LED indicator - you can change the function key mode from F1-12 to control brightness/volume/etc ( and Fn-Fx does another) directly from the keyboard, for example when you need to do a hand Alt-F4.
