We haven't tested the suits in the water yet so I'll check the sizing and update later. I ordered three sizes, 6, 8 and 10.8 were actually smaller than 6 and would probably fit an average 3-4 year old. I would say 6 for kids aged 4-5. A size 10 suit is good for an average 8 year old I would say considering it is too short for my average 9 year old daughter. We recommend ordering 2 sizes up and hope you won't get a wetsuit 4 sizes down. These wetsuits are designed for kids with a fuller body. They are wide and usually the same width from the chest to the hips. They will gape terribly if your child is skinny without a belly and/or smaller in the waist.
