This splint was ordered to stop my stroke affected hand clenching into a fist. On arrival I only wore it for a few hours to see how my body would react to it and I'm happy to report that my relief is already showing in it. The next day, I wore it off my hands for almost a whole day without any grief. It's hard to change when you're older and lazy. The new rehab place I'm going to has also affected me as all sorts of new things are happening to the left side of my body. While it's too early to say more, I can safely say that my hand is getting used to being more relaxed when I'm not wearing it. I am happy with this investment and have already recommended it to a friend who has suffered a stroke. UPDATE 11/13/2019: My left side of my body is struggling with spasticity changes and it shows up in weird ways. I pinch 4 fingers putting this splint on before bed. When I wake up in the morning, 2 or 4 fingers on top! As? At least they're flat. My fingers stuck together after a stroke. The tire really helps a lot! But my body finds ways to trick me in my sleep. I don't know if that's good or bad.
