I think to try as a test. At first I found the foam a little hard, but after a week everything was fine. I like the off brands and used to wear Allbirds but have completely switched to them. It's been 2 months so I'm not sure about the durability yet. You'll get a little dirty. Too bad I didn't spray it first when it was new. Also, the shape of the bottom creates a slight suction on a wet, smooth surface, which is a bit strange.
