Wow. This is one of those moments where I really should have listened to those negative reviews but a few positive ones pushed me to buy them and I wish I never had them! For starters, I got Heavy 3/16 since my orthodontist gave it to me for my Invisalign. As soon as I put them on I noticed how much wider they are than the nude stripes I originally had. And guess what? Those wide, clear elastic bands didn't even fit in the groove of my Invisalign or the metal cap on the bottom of my teeth. It kept reappearing when I stretched it out to switch to a different mount. I finally managed to get the set on and noticed that I could open my jaw wide and then tried tightening the rubber bands on my fingers. Check out the stretch of clear latex compared to my regular rubber bands! It spread my fingers as wide as I could on each of them! Unfortunately I started using them on my 2 year old's hair instead of my teeth as it didn't work for me. Stay away and ask your dentist about a latex-free alternative instead of trying this brand.
