After less than two hours of testing my new PC build, there was a strange smell coming from the back of my case. Suddenly the entire system shuts down mid-game and then refuses to turn back on after trying to use different outlets and the like. The power adapter seemed to run fine and very quietly during normal web browsing, but I only noticed a grating noise coming directly from this power adapter when testing intense games like PUBG and Need for Speed Payback. Aside from the fact that it's dying (and hopefully the rest of my PC lives), the product itself was packaged very well and looks and feels premium from every angle. I've built several PCs for gaming and I know this PSU can handle my components, I'm just unlucky.
