I use this to put my son's milk in and send it for Mother's Day. They don't have a fridge and he doesn't eat formula anymore. His teachers can just pour milk into an empty bottle, which I pack. I poured 16 ounces of his milk into this Mira Thermos at 8:30 a.m. so he could drink an 8 ounce bottle for Mother's Day and then I had another 8 ounce cold so I could give it to him, after picking them up while processing orders. I had no intention of going back home where I could make him a fresh bottle that wouldn't get hot. Of course I picked it up at 2pm, and around 3pm I made him a second bottle and impatiently stuck my fingers in to check the temperature. I was shocked! It was just as cold as when we packed up at 8:30 in the morning. I don't know how it works, but it works!
