It didn't work for me
This product is everything it advertises however it didn't quite work for me. First, my dog didn't like: he avoids stepping on it, so I thought I would place his bowl near the edge of the mat so he doesn't have to step on it. Second, it shows dirty very easily and the only way to clean it is rising it in the sink (you would have to do it basically after each use so it won't look messy). So I ended up placing a thin rug on top of it, to make my dog happy and for easier cleaning. At least is water proof.
