Good product with a leak problem

I bought it in December but installed it before last week. As other reviewers have pointed out, after initially installing just teflon tape and "normal" torque, it still has a leakage problem on all three ports. I wonder why the manufacturer hasn't fixed the issue after so many bad reviews? However, the leak can be fixed and I would like to share my case with other buyers and urge the manufacturer to do an RCCA to fix it from the ground up which will allow you to get 5 star ratings and increase sales. In my case I need to install a 1/2 NPT-PEX (Sharkbite) adapter on all 3 ports. You need a sealant. I bought HomeDepot's Rectorseal #5 soft kit for $3.50. They also need vices, as another reviewer said. Install the outlet port first by clamping the 2 inlet faces of the valve. Apply sealant according to directions, then use a 7/8 box wrench to tighten much more than usual, although it only works with light pressure on the showerhead. After that you have to do the other two together. After applying the sealant, you must first screw them into the ports by hand. You then need to clamp the hex neck of one of the two adapters in a vise and tighten the other with a box wrench, eventually causing both to rotate. You should try to reach the upper limit of the maximum possible torque before damage occurs. If necessary, you can flip and tighten again. I don't have a torque wrench, but you can feel one for the 1/2 brass fitting. Much luck. Again, the product is beautiful and has good functional value.
