XIIVIO SF-777 USB Cardiocardiography Microphone Package Contents: SF-777 USB Cardio Microphone, Shock Collar, Windscreen, Pop Screen, Tripod, Instructions The SF-777 is a standard USB Cardio style microphone. It is suitable for podcast, gaming, conference, skype, etc. It is not suitable for recording songs and guitars because the recording range is very narrow. If you're looking for a good, inexpensive option to get started with streaming, podcasts, or whatever, and you're not interested in making things complicated, this could be a good choice. While it's missing a few features that would really make it premium, its basic functionality along with included bonuses like a windshield and pop filter should be enough to keep most people happy. It's a USB mic, so don't expect it to handle a Shure SM7B or anything like that. The microphone itself is very light, about half the weight of my Fifine K669B. The audio is loud and clear, with no noticeable hiss or background noise. The included windscreen and popscreen make for a very professional look, overall I'm very happy with the look and feel. It comes with a tripod for table use, but I attached it to my pole quickly and easily. Excessive noise - Includes shock absorber collar - Includes windscreen (about $11) and pop screen (about $11-15), saves money on accessories - Can be easily used on a desk with the included tripod base - Plugs in easily Cons: - None Gain knob on mic, a volume controlled by the computer - No built in mute button - The shock collar isn't the best anyway, it grips the mic quite well but don't really grip the mic, so I wouldn't recommend flipping it upside down around to use unless you put a little effort into securing it. The pop filter is part of the shock collar which means you will need to replace both if you want to replace either of them as this is a cardio mic whose pickup range is quite narrow, NOT RECOMMENDED for recording guitar and vocals at the same time I would like to say that overall I am very satisfied with my first impression. I've used the mic for a normal few days gaming and chatting with friends and haven't had any issues. As I mentioned I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a solid budget mic at a competitive price, the inclusion of just the windscreen and pop filter adds almost $25 to the price. My biggest gripe is that the shock collar could definitely be better designed, but overall it does its job of holding a mic, especially with a little work to secure it a little better. If you're interested in live streaming, hosting podcasts, or just need a decent microphone for Skype or video calls, this could definitely be for you.
