I have one in my home studio and every audio pro I work at has one and I love both. The docking station in my work office is still working after 3 years, but in my home office docking station, which is only 2 years old, one of the drive bays failed without much warning. One of my Bay colleagues also had a drive bay failure. I wouldn't say I've used my computer any more than the average user who needs a lot of storage space. It's a great device as long as it works, but I know that in the real world, 2 out of 6 devices I see every day have somehow failed.
