I like this idea and it allows for less pressure on the body when kneeling or leaning over the tub. The armrest absorbs itself fairly well, although there's enough of it to make it wobble a bit when leaning over it. This can cause you to unexpectedly slide forward when leaning against it. Shortly after my son received it, he had a minor accident so it had to be washed. It says it can be washed but I don't know if it's for mixers? After washing there were two spots on the bottom where the foam was torn/worn (picture). The Velcro also makes it easy to tuck the knee pad over your hand in the bath. It can still be there but not visible. Just remember to take it off before showering so it doesn't get wet.
