Review on πŸ”Œ TICONN 200PCS Heat Shrink Butt Connectors Kit - Insulated Waterproof Electrical Marine Automotive Wire Crimp Terminals - Butt Splice Connectors (3 Colors / 3 Sizes) by Luis Thompson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They have been tested underwater with a Fluke insulation tester and pass the test.

As I said, I'm usually not a fan of butt joints, but when there's no other alternative, they seem good. I'm not sure how long they will last when hot or cold or when exposed to chemicals like oil, gas or grease but they seem to be of good quality. I had to use them on the underside of my truck so my main concern was if the connection would tear and if they were truly weatherproof. I tested one of them, pulling the wires from each end as tight as I could, it held. I then used my expensive Fluke insulation tester, submerged the connection completely under water and did an insulation test on the submerged connection. There is no power loss so the connection is truly watertight.
