Just what I need for my main water valve access door. The door only has slots on the left edge to open the door, which is difficult to do with two flathead screwdrivers and only slightly easier. I bought a set of two pull rings and used one for the front door. The plastic in the door is strong, but since the screws will go through with the remaining threads, I decided to add a piece of wooden pry bar to make the connection more secure. The best way to open the pull ring is to lift it by the outside edge near its bottom. After opening, the finger can fit into the ring and pull. Without trimming the protrusions on the hinge end of the ring where it connects to the screw base, the ring doesn't open a full 90°, but still opens enough for a person to get a good grip and pull.
