Review on ☕ Zojirushi Tuff Mug 12-Ounce/0.36-Liter Cinnamon Gold - Durable & Stylish Thermal Travel Mug by Tonya Greene

I bought this mug a year and a half ago and was overall happy with it. I've been using it daily since I received it. I even bought 4 Zojirushi thermoses for friends/family etc because they worked so well. Love the style, the smoothness, the tightness and the ability to keep drinks hot for 10-12 hours. However, within the last month I have noticed that the non-stick coating has become stained and is now growing some deeper mold/mildew on it (see pictures). Unfortunately it has now gotten to the point where I have to throw it away - it's disgusting. I've tried soaking and scrubbing, even using a steel wool pad and digging in deep, and it worked, but this mold/mildew grew back in maybe 2-3 days. I promise I won't be rude and I won't leave old drinks out for weeks and I only drink black coffee and tea so shouldn't have sugar in it for these things to grow easily. The exterior has held up very well even though I've dropped it a few times. Super slacker, gotta throw it away. Yes, a year and a half of use for $25 isn't bad, but it could have lasted longer without that stupid interior trim. It has held up very well, still looks pretty new after two years. So I love this brand, I will definitely buy them, just not the non-stick ones. (why a non-stick thermos anyway?) - Ellie
