Large at the waist.
A dark blue bathing skirt with a high waist was too wide for me at the waist. The top part was about 1 inch larger and the waist was loose as well. The petticoat bikini section was a little tight around my hips but loose around my buttocks. Bikini seams are clearly visible under the skirt. The overall length of the skirt ranged from 14.5 to 15 inches. The skirt ended above mid-thigh on me. My measurements are 5'7", weight 125-130 lbs, natural waist 29", hips 36". Overall I will be returning this swim skirt as the waist area is too big. Also, the layering of the skirt didn't look that flattering like the model.
