Small and Efficient, Best in Fish and Aquatic Category

I need a small and inexpensive filter. That seems to fit the bill. I have a Betta that doesn't like strong currents and she's in a large vase so I didn't have too much room to play with - no room for a hanging filter or canister filter larger than the vase itself. .I had my doubts because the sponge filter is not as good as other filters. It's just a sponge, not a charcoal filter or anything. But even a sponge allows useful and necessary bacteria to multiply. I used to be able to see small scraps of food and other things floating in the water, but after a few hours most were attracted to the sponge. I dispelled my doubts. It's tiny, so I'm guessing something like a couple of gallons. will be his limit. In terms of noise, you only hear bursting bubbles on the water surface and some air noise coming from the pre-installed stone. I would recommend using a variable speed air pump so you can limit noise and power. can generate electricity. Very satisfied. If you have a small tank or use a clean spare flower vase, as was the case, it will circulate with an air pump and maintain water quality.
