UPDATE: Not recommended.I loved it at first. Finally wore the dress and washed on gentle in cold water as directed on the label. When I took it out of the washer, I could tell it had shrunk. I put it on wet and, indeed, it shrank 4 inches in width. The overlap on the bust doesn't cover and the overlap around the waist and the skirt barely reaches. I had sewn the snap on the skirt to keep it closed in the wind and now the snap is 4 inches away from its other half. I then noticed that it's made of rayon. Rayon shrinks terribly when it gets wet. Very disappointing! ****** Original review: Super cute dress, and very flattering, even at my age (64) and my size. It has good overlap of the fabric so there is no worry that it will come open. It did come with a package insert of a snap, which I assume is intended for the wearer to sew on to the flaps at the exact spot where it overlaps on them. I may sew it on just in case it is breezy out. I may also add a snap to the chest just to keep the girls hidden, although it isn't too much exposure as is. I really like this dress. Going to order another color/pattern.
