These tie chains look nice and I really like the double chain. But they are poorly made. I have only worn gold about 10 times but the color is not the same. It appears to have been gold plated and the plating is peeling, tarnishing or changing. So now the chain has some gold spots and some dark bronze spots. Now it's useless, I can't wear it anymore. There's a second problem: like many cheaper tie chains, the backing that goes over the button is too thin and won't stay on the button as I move. around at work (leaning, grabbing, twisting, etc.). It just slips off the button very easily. I've lost a lot of tie chains as a result.
