first, about the bad. Due to the strong plastic frame on the back, the original 6x9 hole had to be cut larger. It was painful because I didn't take this into account and didn't take the tool to enlarge the hole. This is bad. And now for the good. They sound great, the housing and lid are made of very durable hard plastic. They are of very high quality and have not skimped on the material. They are low in my cockpit and I put my foot on them when I swim. They are smooth with rounded edges and make great footrests. Yes they are that durable ;) Very happy with this purchase. Well, that's if they continue to hold on and sound good.
