Runs 4 IP cameras (7W) that I have. + 60W power budget (with dissipation, 12.75W x 4 is the max I would connect at maximum Category 5 distance) + All gigabit ports + Fanless is very good and worth it + Very small and the PSU isn't so big + metal housing - PoE ports are not labeled! 1-4 is PoE but it would be nice to have a label. -------- Please consider power dissipation and PoE classes when calculating your power budget. What comes to the device is not what is sent. This is not a 4-port class 3 PoE switch! Sometimes it can appear as "DOA", fail or "die" as the device protects itself if you overload it. If your device is over 13W (including IR for IP cameras as they don't usually count) and you want to use four of them, you'll need another switch. Class 2: 7 W ---> 6.49 W Class 3: 15.4 W ----> 12.95 W Class 4: 30 W -----> 25.5 W Power adapter (PSE) -- -> Powered Device (PD). ---------------- ------Longevity? I do not know. I have ordered two. Neither of them came DOA and both used 4 PoE devices.
