I am currently using this amp to boost my computer sound. I've had a bunch of Samsung speakers where the amp died a few years ago and I've used them with this amp. The left and right channels are two 4 ohm speakers connected in series, and the subwoofer is the original 5.1 amplifier. Based on the performance of this amp I'd say it's a great fit for any room where you would use a stack of bookshelf speakers and a subwoofer. Getting clear audio output and balancing the subwoofer is pretty easy with the front panel bass buttons. . I didn't turn the speakers up loud enough to hear where the distortion was, but I wouldn't be comfortable if I was deaf. Build quality is pretty good too, all buttons are tact switches and the knob is a rotary encoder so it shouldn't go bad. It also has good rubber feet for cushioning and doesn't get very hot during use. The only downsides I see with the amp are the front panel AUX input and the bright volume meter, but none of that bothers me. by price. It pays to outperform any modern computer speaker sold today, especially given the size and speaker customization the amp offers.
