Review on Ultra-Soft Cotton Baby Blanket For Boys - Large Polar Bear Design - Two-Layer Stroller Blanket - Ideal For Everything - Blue by Damian Toupal

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Pretty pattern, soft, and oversized for baby.

I have three other "big brand" muslin blankets that are very similar to this. I don't think you're permitted to mention other brands within your review, so lets just say they start with A&A, and are priced around $40-$50, depending on design. I have pictures of both those, as well as this monfish blanket, in my review. Overall, this monfish is just as soft, but is MUCH lighter, than the A&A (you can almost see through it). I think we'll only be able to use this for the summer months in Pennsylvania, whereas my boys use their blankets nearly year round (with an extra layer in the winter). The monfish is also quite a bit bigger than the A&A, which you can see in my photos. This can be good or bad. If using for a stroller blanket, this will be much too big and drag on the ground. Finally, the monfish is atleast $12 cheaper. I've washed it several times now, and its held up very well--no loose threads or pilling. Though the pattern is really beautiful, and I love this as a lower budget item or to gift, I think my preference is still with A&A due to the thickness and more child friendly size.

Pros
  • Nursery
Cons
  • The ultra-soft cotton material may be too warm for some babies

I love this blanket. It is light weight and soft. I have bought others but this one has been the softest. I love the blanket but little one doesn''t really share haha. Trying to find the adult size for me now*beware that this material does snag and it is quite normal too. I wash it in a special bag to prevent any snagging from other clothes.

I bought this for my granddaughter while she was staying with me. I wasn’t sure whether I would use it on the floor or in the pack and play. It’s to small to cover the floor area but perfect for the pack and play. Fabric is very soft. Pattern with the bear is very cute. Washing instructions said the blanket needed to be hung to dry. I did that the first wash but I threw it in the dryer on very low heat the second time. Living in FL we have a lot of humidity so drying on the line takes too long. Seemed to be fine! I wouldn’t want to wash and dry more than once a week.
