Review on ⚙️ Dorman HELP! 76933 Gear Shift Knob with Bushing by Marco Wilson

Better than expected at a price that is at least nothing else is on the market. Decent quality plastic. not quite shiny, but just right in the classic sense. The hemispherical seam is visible and mine had a slight 1/8 inch defect at that seam, but that's not a problem. The inserts are high quality but they try to save money by combining 4 thread combinations in 2 inserts. This has a downside. In my case, the ball doesn't thread deep enough into the switch threads to cover them before hitting the bottom of the smaller threads on the other side of the adapter. I solved this problem with a hacksaw. I cut off the side of the insert that had the smaller adapter thread in it that I don't need. This left me with a shorter insert that screws completely onto the switch. This allows the insert to go deeper into the handle and also allows any additional length of switch thread to be further lengthened. into the unthreaded portion of the handle, which is about 1/4 inch.
