SELECT IR/Bluetooth model. The included micro SD connector does not charge it. No, this model doesn't need a battery, it has a rechargeable one --- presumably. It only works when it is CONNECTED. I have no problem connecting it to my Fire TV, but the infrared buttons are another issue. I'll try one more thing and then get back to you. 30 dollars for it. Unbelievable! Updated June 23 We'll be back. WILL NOT hold a charge. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
