Bought this stereo to replace an old Advent stereo in my 2010 RAV4 Sport. I like it! It looks great and is pretty easy to install. Fits perfectly! The instructions weren't very good, several colors of the wires were mislabeled (I think they were brown and blue wires) but I matched them using the photo position and the photo position in the instructions was correct. Not sure if the factory metal braces are just bolted on because I had aftermarket braces. It was secure without them, but I made the brackets I had after drilling holes in the metal to make them more secure. Nothing had to be changed for the installation. Not sure what happened to the review which has a stripped interior. lol must be the wrong year RAV4 for this stereo. Again, it goes perfectly with my 2010. You can remove the plastic interior parts with a credit card or plastic interior trim pliers to avoid scratching the plastic. Be careful not to lose the plastic clips, a couple of mine fell into the console. I watched a YouTube video on how to remove the radio. The factory connectors fit perfectly and the steering wheel controls work. (I did NOT have a JBL system) The included interface works, but I didn't really like it. I installed the $1.99 Agama Car Launcher to replace it. better! (Home Screen Photos is Agama, Photo Radio is the included radio app that works with Agama.) I tried a few different free auto launchers, but they were a bit slow and buggy in my opinion. It took me a while to figure out all the settings like the startup volume so the music doesn't start from the beginning. lol It will take a while to set up your favorite settings and default apps but I think that's one of the reasons I like this stereo. If you don't like the app, you can change it. It's pretty much an Android tablet with additional factory settings to work with your car's controls. So there are many customization options/apps in the Google Play Store. The radio reception is ok but could be better, maybe it's my antenna cable, I cut it. Works tethered to your mobile phone or via Bluetooth only (less option as there is no internet access via Bluetooth). Screen mirroring doesn't work for me, I would say don't worry. Maybe this could work with some tweaking, but I still don't need it. Anything I can think of now, hope this helps! Overall I'm very happy with it.
