Like many people who left reviews on these, I bought bags of Ikea plastic essentials. My kids would ruin the tips of the forks and they would look so bad that I couldn't put them in the dishwasher for guests (including guest kids), the plastic would have a white coating. 7 years old and impossible for my 4 year old. That was great. We've been using them daily for 2 months now, none of them have bent like cheap crockery. They are a bit small for my 7 year old but she still likes them more than the big stuff. My 4 year old loves them! They wash great and I hope that in a few years they can be passed down to my little niece, unlike plastic things that will sit in a landfill for 500 years!
