I was going to buy headphones in the price segment ~ 5-6 thousand. Before buying, I listened to AKG K92, AKG K72, Sennheiser HD 200 Pro and a few other ears in this price group - I didn’t like it. I listened to the younger models of audio equipment - ATH-M20X and ATH-M30X, in my opinion, they are good, I wanted to take ATH-M30X, but ATH-40x has a detachable wire, as well as low impedance. Yes, and they sound, subjectively, better. They sit tight on my head, but I calmly listen to them for an 8-hour working day with short breaks - there is a slight discomfort, but it is more because it is too hot for my ears. My ears fit close to each other, so they must be measured before buying. The wire in the kit is tight, it is unlikely to fray in the foreseeable future. They do not differ in special style and beauty, but they look soundly and are pleasing to the eye.
