I ordered two of these so I have one for my phone and one for my iPod. I'm so impressed I've ordered a third one to use with my TomTom GPS (anytime I have doubts about the sat nav in my new used car as I can update the TomTom map several times a year with lifetime updates, while the car navigation system only comes out with a new map every two years and costs about the same as a new portable GPS navigation system). Anyway, I've used them in the standard car cup holder, as well as two different organizers with cup holders (one is a "wedge" that slides between the passenger seat and the center console, the other is a Rubbermaid organizer). which I just put on the passenger seat) and they work great anywhere.
