Review on Extra Strong And Biodegradable Trash Bags For 8 Gallon/30 Liter Bins, Suitable For Home, Office, Car And Kitchen Use - Green, 90 Count by Scott Carlile

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Definitely biodegradable, but not very strong

These are flimsy, but we appreciate that they're biodegradable. Fun story: we bought these as liners for a travel potty for our little ones, and at a stop we found a huge beetle on our van. I used one of these bags to grab the beetle to have it inspected (it appeared to be a dangerous bug that have been known to absolutely destroy trees and forests. Spoiler alert: it wasn't. But that's beside the point). When we arrived at our destination an hour later, the bug had eaten holes in the bag. We thought this was an interesting testament to the bag's materials. In fact biodegradable and corn-based. They aren't, however, very strong. As potty liners we had to be very careful with keeping them from getting ripped! But as a non-kitchen trash can liner they would probably suffice, assuming they're not over-stuffed.

Pros
  • Trash Bags
Cons
  • The eco-friendly material may not be as heat-resistant as traditional plastic bags
