Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Dremel 8220 1-28 12V Cordless Rotary Tool by Bob Fasho

Large selection: rotary tools

I have been using this tool for several weeks. I followed the battery charging instructions first, and the battery held a solid charge after a few hard uses, from sanding down the latch to keep the door closed to cleaning the intricate wall bracket to remove tarnish. The fact that it's cordless makes it much more convenient than using a corded Dremel tool, which requires you to be plugged into an outlet. I found it possible to use my Dremel 8220 to do small, quick jobs on a trailer parked behind my house away from an outlet, or up a ladder to fix a metal barn light. The tool comes with a small accessory box so I recommend purchasing this Dremel 710-08 All Purpose Rotary Accessory Set, 160 Pieces so you have all the attachments and accessories you need for the vast majority of the job. the tasks you will accomplish with your Dremel 8220. The Dremel 8220 comes in a hard plastic carrying case with slots for many of your accessories, your Dremel tool, cutter guard, charger and a rechargeable lithium ion battery. The battery fits snugly into the shaft of the Dremel 8220 with a click, but can be easily removed for charging. The Dremel 8220 has a foldable strap connector that allows you to either attach a lanyard for security when working on stairs, or simply clip the tool to your strap, freeing your hands for other tasks. I tested the Dremel 8220 against my corded Dremel Rotary and the Dremel 8220 performs just as well if not better and is cordless too. An excellent choice for the handyman who needs a rotary tool for cutting, sanding, polishing or routing around the home.
