Let me start with what I like about it. I like the way it looks. I like digital reading. I love that it has a green light to let me know it's reached its temperature. I love that it has a red light to indicate when it's heating up. I like that it has a protective cover to protect the fish. It seems to work. Well, what I don't like about it. It's been working for me for a few days now. The temperature display is exactly 2 degrees above the actual water temperature. I want my water to be at 80 so I set it to 82. I have a floating thermometer and it's always at 80. My digital thermometer that's off 1 degree shows 79. So as long as you keep it 2 degrees higher than what you want seems to be doing a great job. I do a 50% water change every Sunday. This Sunday it was done and the water warmed up to 80 degrees again.
