I needed a 6 pin weatherproof plug to connect my pickup cover so I could have charge and third brake lights and a backup camera on one plug . I could probably use the 6 pin trailer plugs for a little less money than this whole set but I'm sure I'll be using the remaining plugs in the future. I used the same crimping tool that I used for the Dupont pins and it seemed to work well enough. The gaskets around the pins worked very well on the 16 GA cable used for most cables, but they were very loose on the 20 GA cable for the truck lights. With proper assembly (remove red clip, mount contacts, remount red clip) the contacts are held well and the connectors plug in easily. I'll probably throw away the fuses that came with it. There have been reports of cheap fuses not opening at rated current and I don't want to ruin my car for a $.10 or even $5 fuse.
