When I first tried it the cream came out in very small portions and it was quite a gritty paste. I thought it was a typical defoliating cream and that's why it's good for scrubbing the face :) It turns out that it really softens the face and shaves better, with no irritation and less after you leave it on and after wash a few minutes or without cuts. Skin feels good even after shaving and washing so it's definitely worth buying, much better than traditional shaving creams and gels. Excellent purchase.
