They are very small. I ordered a size up hoping they would last longer for my son and they were a snug fit. Also, the back strap broke when my son ran across the lawn the first day we got them and I'm not even sure where the part went to put it back together. Again, they're very snug, and my kid's feet aren't wide or anything, and the sides rubbed his legs even in socks. He loves them because they have 'Twaktors' and I feel terrible giving them back now. It has a weird plastic shoe feel but I thought they were just play shoes for our garden and easy to put on, and i should have just put them back in my bag and mailed them back but i got it in a whirlwind. But I do not recommend this brand for your little ones.
