I bought a set of 10 as I now have a car without a CD player but with a USB port for music. I use color coding: red for rock, blue for jazz, etc. All discs work fine for me, unlike others that may have had errors. Speed in my device immediately plays the last track I stopped on as expected, but it can take anywhere from a few seconds to a minute or two for the rest of the USB content to be fully indexed. It could be car radios or USB 2.0 drives. I've been experimenting with a few MKV movies to a TV or Roku player...there was noticeable lag in either the audio or a dropped frame or two. Considering how much I spent on 10 of them, I didn't have high expectations for the videos. As a bonus there is a small zippered pocket, also handy for the car.
