I am currently using these speakers in the back ('bed') of my Jeep CJ-7 (now called the Wrangler). They replaced a set of marine-grade speakers that were said to be waterproof but rusted within a year. The Pyramid speakers have now been running for about 8 months without issue and show no signs of slowing down. didn't grill them so I can clean them easier) and the heavy wear and tear you can expect from any off-road jeep. I should note that the sound they produce is not in the realm of a true subwoofer. They are best used to replace the woofers or midrange drivers. They have a muted high frequency range and don't have the power of a real subwoofer. However, they have little space in a high-quality sound system. But for the price they are very good and I recommend them to all music lovers who want a cheap sound system. I particularly recommend them as rear speakers, as they don't produce clear highs and voices can sound muffled.
