Never used. It turned out that my computer worked perfectly. I'm a techie and got everything set up correctly, the best I could get out of it was the horrible cycle of 'connected' and 'disconnected' noises when I plugged something in. My guess is poor power delivery. There's no SATA power connector, so it tries to get all of its power from the PCI port, ports practice. Instead of getting a replacement I get a refund and get a better card. Should have taken the one with the better performance first. I don't know why I thought 7 ports could only be powered efficiently via PCIe.
