If you use this to store still water, this is a good bottle. If you're using this to carbonate water with a fizzy spray, I can't stress enough that it's dangerous. Twice this bottle was unscrewed during carbonation and water splashed everywhere. The second time, the bottle smashed the bottom of my soda stream and splashed water in my face with such force I immediately thought I'd blinded myself. The carbonation you apply to the bottle as the double layers of insulation expand allows you to increase the water pressure beyond what you would normally use with a plastic bottle. This bottle doesn't produce the same "blow out" effect as a regular soda bottle to let you know when it's fully carbonated, making you think you're carbonated the water beyond the required amount have to take care of.
