Unfortunately it didn't work with our tails. We have adjusted and tightened them several times but to no avail. They kept crowing. They are made of hard, prickly material that is unsuitable. If left on our birds there would undoubtedly be friction sores. They are exactly the same as electronic ties. Three packs also came with a red collar. Red is not allowed for chickens and roosters. Other birds began to attack and peck the one with the red collar. I wish they would work so we could keep our birds. Giving zero stars is not an option.
